The MHR Team II Rotor Ignition from Malossi for Piaggio LC engines is an innovative solution designed to optimize performance in competition. This ignition system features an adjustable control unit that allows it to adapt to different engines, achieving over 10,000 RPM with improved spark efficiency.
Main features:
Microprocessor: uP STM8-8 with processing capability of over 20 MIPS, including variable advance controlled by three trimmers:
MAPS: Selection of predefined map.
OFFSET: Map adjustment from +0 to -2º.
LIM: Variation of the RPM limiter (11,500 to 14,300 RPM, including the option to exclude the limiter).
Predefined maps:
1 for 4T engines with variable advance.
6 for 2T engines with variable advance.
1 with fixed advance.
High coil: Improved to provide a maximum discharge voltage exceeding 40 KV, with an increase in electrical performance of approximately 20%.
Improvements and optimizations:
Weight reduction: The stator has been lightened by 30% (-100 gr).
Magnetic optimization: Monolithic high-permeability magnetic circuit with a 58 mm rotor and neodymium magnets.
Wiring: Automotive class with IP67 certified waterproof connector.
Installation instructions: Include graphics for adjustments on different engines.
Important note: Installing this ignition cancels the original electrical installation of the motorcycle.
