With a constant charging amperage of 1.25A, it ensures safe and efficient charging. The nominal charging voltages cover a wide range, from 0.5V to 14.4V, suitable for both 12V and 12.8V batteries.

The charger features four selectable charging programs designed to suit different needs. For 12V batteries, the first program is intelligent desulfation that operates within a voltage range of 0.5V to 14.4V. The second program is specially designed to be compatible with the BMW CAN-bus system, operating between 5V and 14.4V.

For 12.8V lithium batteries, the third program is a low voltage recovery, with a range from 0.5V to 14.4V. The fourth program is also compatible with the BMW CAN-bus system, functioning between 8.8V and 14.4V.

It incorporates the Quad OptiMate 4 program, which performs measurements before and after charging, allowing it to recover lead-acid batteries, as well as "totally discharged" lithium batteries with voltages as low as 0.5 volts. This program uses a two-stage approach for desulfation recovery, including a low voltage pulse phase during the CAN-bus mode.

This charger is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, with a minimum operating temperature of -40°F/-40°C. Additionally, its input is global, accepting voltages from 100-240V and frequencies of 50-60Hz, and it is CEC certified, ensuring high performance.

The charger's housing is waterproof and comes with a wall bracket for added convenience. It also includes a 180 cm (6 ft) AC connection cable and a 180 cm (6 ft) charging cable with an SAE connector, making it easy to use in various situations.
