This engine reed valve insert is specifically designed for the Minarelli AM6 engine. Its function is to act as a 10 mm spacer (separator plate) that sits beneath the reed valve, slightly elevating it and thus increasing the intake crankcase volume. This increase improves the "washing" of the overflow channels and optimizes the intake of the air-fuel mixture, which generally results in improved performance, especially at high revs and in tuned engines.
